Hint: Perhaps time to catch up on a book or a few?!
While we often challenge our kids with summer reading programs, don’t forget that reading is a great way for us adults to learn + grow, too – something that is easily a lifelong experience.
To jumpstart your summer reading, we’re launching a fun photo + reading contest starting June 1 through June 20, with the winner announced June 21 – the first official day of summer.
Our core values reflect our inherent desire to do good while empowering others in the same way. We believe this starts with confidence, which stems from understanding our foundational purpose.
The #AuthenticMe Photo + Reading Contest asks you to take baby steps towards this purpose + confidence by sharing real photos + stories about you. Share photos or stories everyday to earn more entries, and over the next three weeks, we’ll watch many stories of authenticity surface and inspire.
The winner gets a 4 pack of carefully selected books that empower nonprofit and for-profit entrepreneurs to …
1) Find confidence (in your finances, and other areas of life).
2) Define and share your authentic story.
3) Practice a purposeful presence.
At the end of our contest, we’ll read the books in our Connective Collective Book Club (Facebook community). There, whether or not you read along, you’ll still find value in the lessons learned through the concepts we share from the readings.
